Meet Our Gainesville Attorneys
Silverman and Mack, LLC is comprised of a team of seasoned family law and criminal law attorneys, each with an unparalleled devotion to advocating for their clients, both at the negotiating table and within the courtroom. Our firm has more than 40 years of combined experience as trial attorneys and public defenders as well as lawyers for private firms, the public sector, and the Florida courts.
Before founding the law firm, partner Joshua Silverman worked as a state prosecutor and handled many cases involving child abuse, domestic violence, and sex-related offenses, as well as other types of criminal matters. His tenure as a prosecutor gave him extensive courtroom experience. His abilities as a trial attorney are widely recognized by his peers, and he is a lecturer on trial advocacy in various forums.
Stephanie Mack joined the firm as an equity partner in 2013. Before joining the firm, she worked as a staff attorney for circuit court judges in the Fifth Judicial Circuit in Marion County where she was exposed to many different areas of the law. She then served as an associate attorney for a small firm in Gainesville, focusing mainly on family law and probate matters. She has experience in negotiation, trial work, and probate administration. Ms. Mack has the additional distinction of being state board certified as a Marital and Family Law Specialist since 2011.
The work of our partners is bolstered and supported by our team of excellent associates. Ritisha Khatri joined Silverman and Mack, LLC as an associate attorney in 2020. Mrs. Khatri began her legal career working as a health law attorney. During this time, she advocated for physicians and medical groups as well as other health professionals and licensed health facilities in litigation, licensing and disciplinary issues, administrative hearings, Medicare defense, contracts, and business matters. Mrs. Khatri then expanded her legal knowledge by delving into the area of trademark law. There, she assisted with the preparation of trademark registration and the drafting of legal contracts.
